What students have to say

Volunteering

With our Scholarship programma we want to give youngsters a future. Scholarships are granted to young men and women who have shown commitment to their community by working as a volunteer. Our partners, the Association for Educational Transformation (ASSET) and the Rural Education Access Programme (REAP) recommend candidates for a bursary. Their recommendations are based on a number of criterions of which having been involved with the community as a volunteer is a very important one.
Study expenses are covered by:

  • a NSFAS loan (National Student Financial Aid Scheme), facilitated by ASSET and REAP
  • a contribution of the (extended) family, however small
  • our scholarship

80%

Our partners ASSET and REAP assist the students in reaching their study goals. More than 80% of their students succeed in finishing their studies. The national average is 50%.
