The mission of the SPZA is: a better future for children and youths living in poor townships in South Africa.  We believe that education is the key to a better future.

Ubuntu

Our strategy is to offer children and youth a chance to become sensible, confident and social adults living in the spirit of the African ‘Ubuntu’.  Ubuntu entails that the individual forms part of the community, from which he derives safety, strength and his identity. But the community is nowhere without the individual. ‘I am because we are and we are because I am.’
