We focus on children and youngsters who grow up in townships and on farms. Together with our partner organisations we strive to give them a chance of a better future. Our core business is education, because we believe that education is the key to a better future. We want to assist them to develop into well balanced, confident and social men and women who are able to take care of themselves and others. People who live in the spirit of Ubuntu, a vision of community built upon respectful, interdependent relationships. Out-of-School Child Care Programme
After school and during the holidays children and youngsters hang around. Many grow up in a single-parent family where mother or grandmother has a full time job. When taking part in after care and holiday schools they are safe, away from abuse, crime and drugs. Instead they can have fun, learn new skills and meet new friends. Read more... Child Sponsorship Programme
Sponsor parents assist children from families at risk (unemployment, sickness, single or teenage parent) to go to a good school. Sponsor parents tell you why they do this. Read more... Below (left) a film about Waldorf (Steiner) schools.

Scholarship Programme
Youngsters who show a commitment to the community by working as a volunteer, can qualify for a bursary. These important role models are carefully selected by our partner organisations in South Africa. Students are monitored and they are given advice and guidance. Read more...
